The Franchisee Excellence Awards honor exceptional franchise owners whose performance, leadership, and contributions set the standard for success in franchising. These awards are conferred by Franchise Business Review (FBR), the franchise industry’s most respected independent research firm, recognized for authoritative franchisee satisfaction research and benchmarking.
This award is not given lightly. Winners represent the top tier of franchise ownership, embodying excellence in business performance, brand advocacy, community engagement, and professional leadership.

The Franchisee Excellence Awards are open to all franchise brands that:
- Are based in the U.S. or Canada
- Have at least 10 franchise owners open and operating for more than six months
- Participate in Franchise Business Review’s franchisee satisfaction survey
- Qualify for the Top 200 Franchises list
Participation in the survey also qualifies you for FBR’s franchisee satisfaction awards throughout the year.

Criteria:
We’re looking for franchisees who set an admirable example when it comes to leadership, business acumen, financial and professional success, and contributing to their community.
