How to Optimize Your Online Ads with FBR

WHAT MAKES AN EFFECTIVE AD?

Ad copy should be creative, concise and easy to read but also have compelling and relevant content. Avoid using jargon or excessive information that doesn’t contribute directly to the overall message of the advertisement.

  • Don’t include fine print or a ton of text.
  • Don’t overwhelm or confuse the viewer or make them hunt for the message.
  • Do include company logo and branding.
  • Do use compelling images with good color contrast.
  • Do call the user to action.

BOX AD PROCESS

  • Box Ads appear on all FBR site pages (with the exception of brand profile pages and the Franchisor tab).
  • Ads link directly to your franchise website. (You provide the URL).

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Box Ad Creative Please provide a 700px x 700px, 72 dpi – .jpg, .png, .gif (animation okay) OR FBR can assist with design for a fee.
  • Link Please provide a link for the ad destination – ideally to a custom landing page to optimize ad performance. It is a good idea for the link you provide to have UTM code tracking for analytics purposes. See how apply and use UTM tracking.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Company logo (if we don’t already have it): Please provide the most up-to-date logo. If possible, provide the logo as vector (.ai, .eps, .svg). This will give our designer the ability to resize your logo without the loss of image quality.
