COVID-19 Franchise Resources

One of the things that makes the franchise community so special is that people are always ready and willing to help in any way possible. Within days of COVID-19 becoming a health and economic crisis, numerous organizations and companies made resources available to provide assistance and forums to connect us and guide us through this.

We know that your inboxes are being flooded with invitations to webinars, online events, calls and more, and no one can possibly attend them all – especially while trying to keep businesses running in an uncertain time, work from home, and stay healthy.

To make them easier to access, we’ve compiled a list of the COVID-19 franchise resources we’ve come across. The list is not exhaustive and we are updating as more resources become available.

International Franchise Association (IFA)
The IFA has compiled a comprehensive list of information and resources to help guide franchisors through the coronavirus crisis, including daily webinars, government activity calls, advocacy resources, state tax guidance and more.

Boefly
Our friends at BoeFly are pre-registering franchisors and franchisees for expedited emergency funding that will soon become available through the CARES Act. Register your brand here: https://franchisor.boefly.com/crisis-capital/SBA-loan-application/

ActionCOACH
Brad Sugars, Chairman and Founder of ActionCOACH, held a webinar in which he offers 11 tips you can start now to prepare now for the economic shift that has started and is becoming more massive due to COVID-19.

FranchiseBlast
Franchise Blast is hosting a webinar on March 31 on supporting and enabling franchisees during changing times. The webinar will address compliance with food safety legislation for drive-through/take-out only, rolling out new operational procedures during COVID-19, remote support, and more.

FASTSIGNS
Katherine Monson, CEO of FASTSIGNS International and Chair of IFA, shares her inspirational message for franchisees during this time.

1851 Franchise
1851 Franchise held a three-part webinar series, What the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic Will Mean for Franchise Brands, as well as other webinars addressing challenges of the crisis. They also have a “Franchise Growth Mastermind” private group on Facebook that you can join.

Cultivate Advisors
Casey Clark, CEO of Cultivate Advisors, held a webinar on Managing Cash Flow Through a Crisis to help business owners identify cash flow thresholds in the current environment and how to make timely decisions to move your business forward
