What’s involved in the employee engagement survey?

Franchise Business Review’s employee engagement surveys measure and benchmark the satisfaction and engagement of employees working in the franchise sector.

It asks employees to provide feedback on their workplace satisfaction in eight key areas, including leadership, managers, culture, team, and alignment. The survey captures both quantitative and qualitative data, and includes 24 standard questions, which we use to benchmark your performance against other franchise organizations.

By identifying areas of strength and opportunities for improvement, franchise leaders can make informed decisions to improve employee engagement and retention, and ultimately drive business success.

The survey also aims to aggregate information and insights about the current state of employment in the franchising industry, including challenges and opportunities faced by organizations and individuals. It provides valuable insights into the workplace culture and employee satisfaction within franchise organizations. The data collected is used to inform and educate industry stakeholders on key trends and best practices, as well as recognize the franchise companies that excel at offering an exceptional organizational culture with an Employee Satisfaction award.

Who is the survey for?

The survey is for corporate franchise employees (HQ and corporate-owned units), supplier employees, and unit-level franchise employees. Franchisees can choose to work with FBR directly to gather employee feedback, or franchisors can facilitate the feedback process through FBR to drive data collection from unit-level employees.

How is the survey distributed?

Send us your employee contact list and we’ll do the rest. Surveys can be launched within 48 hours of registering and can be customized to meet your specific needs.

We take confidentiality seriously and ensure that all survey responses are anonymized. Individual responses are never shared, and results are reported in aggregate to protect the privacy of all participants. This guarantees that employees can provide honest and valuable feedback without concern.

How long is the survey?

The survey consists of 24 benchmark questions covering eight key areas: satisfaction self-assessment, alignment, team, manager, leadership, and core, plus additional demographic questions. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete.
